Truly A Bundle of Joy

Just like every other day, I woke up this morning when little Ethan did his hungry cry. Fed him and thereafter had a little play time with him. But this little boy had more in mind for me - a little surprise....out came a toothless smile (all you could see was his gum) that melts your heart away, along with some mumble of baby talk. "Honey quick come & see". Brian just came out from the shower preparing for work - and yes little Ethan did it again for daddy, and more oos & ehhhs this time when we encouraged him for more. Absolutely no idea what he was trying to say but its the sweetest & most heart warming sound that I have ever heard in my life. In that moment, I had forgotten all the struggles with the feeding, the never ending changing of nappies & hours of rocking him to sleep.

This little 'angel' has paid me back in a language that more than exceeded what I had given him....
If only I had been able to capture that smile on camera....
Determine to capture his first smiles & words- we tried again, this time, even more rewarding....it just keeps getting better!
